Zone 00 Cornwall

A quarterly meeting of people from the Permaculture and Transition movements.
An opportunity to devote time to our inner world and personal development with the aim of making us stronger to do the outer work for 'The Great Turning'.

The name 'zone 00' is derived from the Permaculture planning tool 'zoning', which ensures efficient placement in designs. Zone 00 refers to our our inner world.

Different techniques are employed but there is a strong strand of Joanna Macy's The Work That Reconnects running through some of the work as well as nature connection activities.

In March 2011 we met for the first time at the Melting Pot in Redruth.
Our meeting on the 18th June was held in a beautiful woodland on the edge of Bodmin Moor. We explored nature awareness work inspired by Chris Holland's book 'I love my world'. We've been meeting again every few months for more Work That Reconnects and nature connection.

Our last meeting was March 2013, next date to be confirmed.
