By attending a Permaculture Design course you will learn in-depth how the workings of nature can be applied to our lives and make us more sustainable.
This full Permaculture Design course will run over 6 weekends at Plan-it Earth in Sancreed nr Penzance from 15th May - 4th October and in 22 July - 5 August at Keveral Farm.
The Permaculture Design course will include:
Introduction to Permaculture, sustainable systems, Permaculture Ethics, Farm walk, the Permaculture chicken, observation skills, Permaculture principles, ecological principles, Permaculture design process, trees, soil & soil conservation, water treatment & composting toilets, agroforestry & forest gardening, wild food, fungi in Permaculture, urban Permaculture, Transition Towns, People Care, legal structures and various practicals.
About Keveral
Keveral was one of the first farms in the country to become a Soil Association Registered Organic Farm. Several co-operative structures exist on the farm, including a housing Co-op for the community. Some activities and small businesses on the farm include a vegbox scheme, camping, courses, mushroom growing, apple juice and cider making, herbalism and basket making. Keveral is a registered demonstration site for the Permaculture Association Land Project.
Plan-it Earth
Plan-it Earth is an educational eco-project in West Cornwall, with many inspiring examples of sustainable living.
Staying at Keveral
The Keveral course will be held as a residential, with accommodation in your own tents, however some yurts/tipis/indoor accommodation may be available for a fee.
If you live locally you can just turn up every day.
Food will be provided.
Evenings will often include slide shows, films and other activities. There will be some free time on the timetable to explore the local areas; the beach is in walking distance.

Plan-it Earth: £399 (concession £249)
Keveral: to be confirmed.
Fees include membership of the Permaculture Association (Britain) for one year.
