Le Coty

Le Coty is a small farm in Brittany run by my friends Mick and Jenny. They rent the house out in the summer and move into the strawbale house built into the dutch barn.

They have various animals, some for eating, grow their own fruit and veg for eating and selling to the visitors.

The Permaculture design looked at maximising the space around the house. We all walked the fields, which are positioned away from the farm to look at future options.

The design suggestions include ideas about diverse income streams, as living directly off the farm is difficult.
