Introduction to Permaculture course

Chickweed, Stellaria media, a most useful plant providing fresh greens for salad or soup. Great skin healing herb.

Site tour, including a walk in the woods at Pentiddy.

Typically this course runs over two days, generally over a weekend, but occasionally I run a one-day. Venues for these intros are local Permaculture sites, so that you can experience permaculture in action and get to know it through a site tour and practical excercises.

Current course dates and venue on courses page.

Course outline:

day 1: Ethics, basic ecology, multiple functions, stacking, everything cycles/outputs - inputs,

day 2: Observation, zones, sectors, surveying, design

Includes practicals and other outdoor activities where possible.

A short wild food walk is always included.

The one-day course is a more compact version of this.

Costs weekend £75 (concession £55).
